Latest on Triple H Playing Thor

For the past several months, Triple H has been rumored to play the leading role of “Thor” the movie that is set to begin filming in July.

A casting notice has been released by the producers asking for an actor in his 20s, however Triple H turns 40 years old on July 27. The casting notice describes the role as “physically powerful, very handsome, occasionally egotistical, petulant and wild”.

Daniel Craig and Kevin McKidd have also been rumored for the role of a partially disabled doctor who becomes the hammer-wielding hero.

The movie is expected to arrive in cinemas a year after filming begins on July 16, 2010.
