Hopefully this will be a quick one so we don’t have to suffer through a terrible women’s match on the way to all the other great matches at Wrestle Mania 24. This match got even worse as Candice Michelle was replaced by Ashley due to injury. So now we are faced with one team that can’t wrestler to save their lives, going up against two good competitors in Beth Phoenix and Melina. Gee, I wonder why this match will feature Snoop Dogg and Kim Kardashian? That’s because no one would really care if it didn’t.
It at least will let Maria strut her stuff to sell more copies of her Playboy edition. And for Ashley it will allow her to reestablish herself after her come back from injury. Melina will get a chance to show she is a good performer in the ring and should be known more for this than her famous apron splits entrance. Beth Phoenix really doesn’t need much help to prove she belongs in the ring. There is no doubt she has the physical skills to be one of the best women wrestlers of all time, but can she develop a personality to match? Look for this to be quick and painless and for the good gals to win to keep the Playboy momentum going.
