LA Knight, one of the most popular stars in WWE, has been a subject of much interest and debate within the wrestling community. His unique persona, coupled with his impressive in-ring skills, have drawn comparisons to some of the greatest wrestlers in history. One such comparison is with the enigmatic Mr. Kennedy.
Mr. Kennedy recently shared his thoughts on the subject while speaking on Rewind Recap Relive – Wrestling Interviews. In an open and honest conversation, Kennedy revealed that he had worked with Knight in NWA for a short period and wished nothing but the best for him.
“…I think… I get it, I appreciate it [being compared to current WWE United States Champion LA Knight]. Like… I don’t think anybody is copying anybody or… It’s just that… That’s his genuine persona. And yeah, he may have taken inspiration from different people as we all do. There really is nothing in wrestling that’s new. It’s all sort of borrowed and tweaked, right? But I think he’s great. I actually got a chance to work with him at NWA for a little while. We did a job together. And I wish him nothing but the best,” Mr. Kennedy said.
LA Knight, currently scheduled to face Jacob Fatu at WrestleMania 41, has been on a meteoric rise in his WWE career. His impressive performances have left fans and critics alike in awe. With a unique persona that blends toughness and charisma, Knight has managed to carve out a niche for himself in the WWE universe.
