Notes on the Passing of Randy Savage

From: PWInsider.com

According to TampaBay.com, local authorities noted that Savage lost control of his Jeep Wrangler, which crashed over a median into oncoming traffic and into a tree. It is believed a heart attack was the cause of the crash but that cannot be confirmed until an autopsy is completed. Lanny Poffo told TMZ.com it was a heart attack.

Savage’s wife of one year, Lynn, suffered minor injuries in the crash. Both Lynn and Randy were wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash. Our deepest condolences go out to Lynn and Lanny as well as the rest of their friends and family.

Savage’s passing is already becoming a huge mainstream story as I’ve heard mentions of it on numerous radio stations in the NYC area and he’s trending on Twitter. The AP and TV Guide already have stories up as well.
