….to ECW that is. And fortunately ford the show it was what save it tonight. And even that may be a stretch, as it was another unimpressive night on Sci Fi. So let’s get to the recap folks. Flair showed up tonight to talk about his induction into The Hall of Fame. But he wouldn’t get much out as he was interrupted not only by Elijah Burke, but Shelton Benjamin felt he needed to join the fun too. Tired of the brash young cockiness, Flair administered a pair of chops on ECW’s bad boys, but not before they double teamed him. Of course CM Punk came to the rescue and helped to clear the ring. Of course it could not end there and due to the magnificent wisdom of ECW chairman, Armando Estrada, we got to see a tag match between the factions. It was a decent enough match and ended with Burke tapping out to the figure four. I have to think this ends here as I don’t see this carrying over to Mania. So for one night the legend Rick Flair brushes with ECW.

As for the rest of the night there was not much else to talk about. Miz beat Colin Delaney, followed by Miz and Morrison taking out Tommy Dreamer after the match, then preceding to beat on Delaney some more. I guess we can expect more of this as it seems to be developing into some kind of program. Not sure why. If Miz and Morrison are champs, shouldn’t they be taking on major talent and defending their titles. Why are we taking away two of the best talents on ECW and forcing them into worthless tag matches. It’s not like the ECW roster has talent to spare.

We also saw Stevie Richards and Kofi Kingston beat nondescript opponents. I really want to see Kingston take on some real opposition to see if he is the real deal. He looks good now, but will his high flying ways translate into a real match. I know the fans seem to like him, but I really don’t think he will make much noise outside of ECW.
