– WWE officials have wanted Jeff Hardy to face CM Punk at this year’s WrestleMania 26 pay-per-view from Arizona.
When Hardy left WWE last year, the impression was given that he would return for a match with Punk at WrestleMania. While nothing has been set in stone yet, WWE officials are hoping Hardy will return to start the build for the match.
One issue surrounding Hardy’s return would be his pending criminal charges from his arrest last year and how it might affect Linda McMahon’s political career.
